This is a silky smooth serum that glides over your skin. A couple of drops easily covered my entire face and neck. It absorbs instantly, but left a bit of a tacky feel, so I waited about 10 minutes before applying makeup for the day. There is no tingle or burning, no irritation whatsoever. If it wasn't for the slightly sticky feel immediately after application, I wouldn't know there was anything on my skin.
